for sale is a 1993 nissan 240sx convertible. It is heavily modified for performance and has had a ground up rebuild with upgraded parts. it is currently insured under an appraisal value of just under $40000, which covers the parts invested in the vehicle. the factory ka24de engine has been completely overhauled with upgraded parts and a custom turbo kit and it makes 422 wheel horsepower on race gas at 26 psi of boost. on pump gas and low boost it makes just over 350 wheel horse power, making it very fun to drive on the street. transmission and drivetrain have also been upgraded to handle the power. the suspension and brakes have been completely upgraded with aftermarket and 300zx components. the car has zero rust and has been painted 350z red. it has a full silvia aero kit and staggered 17x9 and 17x10 inch wheels. it has never seen rain or snow and is stored indoors. the interior has been re-wrapped in material sourced new in japan, and racing seats and harnesses have been installed. the top was replaced with a new one last summer. i can provide a complete modification list and dyno sheets/appraisal to interested buyers.

i have been driving the car for 2 summers and taken it on numerous track events. it performs amazingly everytime and never has any issues. it has run a 12.4 quarter mile at 117 mph on street tires and high boost and mid 13 second quarters on low boost. it is one of the most modified and properly built local 240sx's that i have seen. i have taken it to banff and to saskatchewan and it drives great on the highway. it is also a rare vehicle ( 1 of about 2500) and is the only convertible modified to this extent that i have seen in calgary. every aftermarket part was bought brand new and oem parts were all rebuilt or purchased new from nissan. i run only synthetic fluids and race proven products in the car. comes with a spare set of tires for the rear. my price is fairly firm as i am already taking a over a 50% loss on what i have invested, and not including the 2 years it took to build the car. there is only [removed phone] km on the car since the complete rebuild. im asking $14500 but will entertain any resonable offers. this car is perfect for someone who wants a modified 240sx that stands out and performs and doesnt require any build to get it to that point. everything is already done. thanks for looking.
